The 30-year-old singer, rapper, and record producer rocked the world with his fusion songs, characterised by strong energy. Amritpal Singh Dhillon, often known as AP Dhillon in the music industry, is an Indo-Canadian rapper, singer, and record producer specialising in Punjabi music. While “Majhail” and “Brown Munde” topped the chart, five of his tracks reached their peak on the Asian and Punjabi charts of the Official Charts Company UK. Along with his Run-Up Records labelmates Gurinder Gill, Shinda Kahlon, and Gminxr, Dhillon performs as a trio.

2019: Dhillon started his career in 2019 with singles “Fake” and “Faraar”
2020: His track “Deadly,” created by Gminxr, hit the Official Charts Company’s UK Asian chart in 2020 and peaked at number 11. The song also peaked at number 5 on the UK Punjabi chart. His following song, “Droptop,” featured Gurinder Gill and debuted on the UK Asian and UK Punjabi charts. He worked with Gurinder Gill and Manni Sandhu on the single “Majhail” in June 2020.
It was their strongest effort yet and peaked at the top of the UK Asian and Punjabi charts. He appeared in Intense’s “Excuses” in July 2020, which reached its highest point on the UK Asian chart and topped the UK Punjabi chart.
He released “Brown Munde” in September 2020 alongside Gurinder Gill, Gminxr, and Shinda Kahlon. Nav, Sidhu Moose Wala, Money Musik, Anmol Dalwani, and Steel Banglez appeared in the song’s music video. The song was added to the Canadian Apple Music chart. The song scored his second number one on the chart when it debuted at the top of the UK Asian chart.
Not by Chance, AP Dhillon’s debut EP, was released in 2020. All seven of the EP’s songs reached the top five of the Official Punjabi Music list in the UK and NZ, respectively.

2021: AP Dhillon and his group gave their debut live performance as part of the “Over The Top – The Takeover Tour” in six significant Indian cities. Boat and Dhillon collaborate for brand association.
2022: Dhillon worked with Amazon Prime Video in 2022 to promote The Boys (season 3), and in the teaser for the show, he cues an exclusive rendition of his song “Insane.” Dhillon sang his famous song “Summer High” as the first Punjabi performer at the 2023 Juno Awards in Edmonton, Canada.
