Tragedy struck Maharashtra’s Buldhana district last night as a devastating road accident claimed the lives of Five people and left 20 others injured.
According to the official report, the unfortunate accident involved two buses with distinct destinations. One of the buses was enroute to Hingoli following the Amarnath Yatra pilgrimage, while the other was a private bus headed towards Nashik.
It appears that the bus headed for Nashik attempted to overtake a truck, but miscalculated the maneuver, causing it to veer into the path of the second bus. Tragically, this misjudgment resulted in a collision between the two buses.

The incident occurred when two buses collided head-on around 2.30 am on NH 53, precisely at the Nandur Naka flyover in the Malkapur area, as reported by the police. The authorities are investigating the cause of the collision as the community mourns the loss of lives and prays for the swift recovery of the injured.
Regrettably, five passengers lost their lives, and approximately 20 others sustained injuries, prompting their admission to a hospital in Buldhana. On the brighter side, 32 passengers with minor injuries received immediate first-aid assistance at a nearby Gurudwara. The incident has left the community in shock and mourning.
