The Prime Minister of India will lead a road show of about 36.6 kilometers in Bengaluru on Saturday, 6th May, ahead of Wednesday’s polling. The PM himself will lend his support to the candidates of the city. The BJP has named the event Namma Karnataka Yatre. Out of the 28 constituencies in Bengaluru, the PM will visit 18.
The city is crucial for the ruling party to have a thumping victory and form a government in the 224 strong Karnataka constituencies. About a million people are expected to witness the rally on Saturday.
The Prime Minister will travel the first stretch of his visits through the constituencies of Mahadevapura, KR Puram, CV Raman Nagar, Shantinagar and Shivajinagar, where he would have covered 10.1 Kilometers from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.
Resuming his journey at 4:00 pm and the 26.5 kilometers, Benglauru South, Bommanahalli, Jayanagar, Padmanabhanagar, Basavanagudi, Chickpet, Chamarajpet, Gandhinagar, Vijaynagar, Govindarajanagar, Rajajinagar, Malalaxmi layout and Malleshwaram will be covered, and the mega roadshow should end by 10:00 pm.
Even though Bengaluru Central MP Mr PC Mohan, has said that the public will not be inconvenienced, residents and those working on Saturday have been advised to plan accordingly. He said that the roadshow will be held to thank the people of Karnataka for trusting him for nine years.
