Lion’s Club Sarjapura Town has been making significant strides in its mission to serve the community, and its efforts have been recognized in a historic way. The club, under the guidance of its President, Lion Puja Chandra, has received an unprecedented 11 awards at the recent ceremony held in Koramangala Club, Bengaluru. Puja Chandra also received an award for the Best President.
One of the most significant awards of the night was the Best President Award, which was given to President Puja Chandra for her passionate work as a social worker. Her dedication and hard work were closely monitored by District Governor Lion Bhaktavatsala Reddy and the district officers during their term in 2021-22.
The Lions Club Sarjapura Town has been active in various departments, including fighting hunger, supporting cancer patients, organizing blood donation camps, diabetic camps, vision, and maternity camps. Their efforts have not gone unnoticed as they received Star Performer awards in cancer, blood donation camp, and overall service activity, as well as being recognized as one of the Best Clubs in the Admin category, ranking 3rd place in District 317E.
Lion’s Club Sarjapura Town’s partnership with Leo Club Sarjapura Town, led by Lion Suparna Chatterjee, has also made a significant impact in their community. The Leo Club received the Excellent Club award, adding another accolade to the club’s historic night.
The award ceremony was organized under the Governorship of Lion Bhakthavatsala Reddy, and the Award receiving members available yesterday at Koramangala Club were President- Lion Puja Chandra, Chairperson Marketing Lion Pooja Misra, Club Director Lion Rama Kochal, and Treasurer Lion Rupesh Chandra and Lion Daniel.
