Jarmundi Sub Divisional Police Officer Santosh Kumar, while assuring further details at a later time, reported the involvement of seven to eight local youths in the crime. Consequently, three suspects have been apprehended, with an ongoing manhunt for the remaining individuals.
The victim is currently under medical care at a local hospital, and State Health Minister Banna Gupta has expressed a commitment to taking strict legal action against the perpetrators.
