The Siasat Daily’s managing editor, Zaheeruddin Ali Khan, passed suddenly on Monday after having a stroke while taking part in the burial procession of Balladeer Gaddar in this city. According to family sources, Gaddar and Zaheeruddin Ali Khan had a very close relationship.
The senior journalist from The Saisat Daily passed out in the parade after having a severe stroke. He was sent to a nearby private hospital and pronounced dead there.
The passing of “Zaheer Bhai,” as his friends and coworkers affectionately referred to him, shocked the twin cities’ journalism community because of his reputation as a friendly person. Zaheeruddin Ali Khan was a prominent name in the media industry and received awards for his contribution to the field of media.
