‘Kasauti Zindagi Ki’ actress Shweta Tiwari has landed in controversy after her recent statement. Bhopal Police have launched an FIR against her for hurting the religious sentiments.
While promoting her upcoming web series in Bhopal, the actress said that ‘Bhagwaan’ (God) takes her bra size. The statement did not go well with the people. As a result of that, an FIR was registered.
Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra has also been made aware of this statement. “I have seen and heard Shweta Tiwari’s statement. I condemn it. I have instructed (the) Bhopal Police Commissioner to investigate and submit a report to me soon. Action will be taken.” said the Home Minister while talking to the media on Thursday.
The cast was interacting with the media to promote their upcoming web series, called ‘Show Stopper: Meet the bra fitter’. The clip wherein the actress is seen making these statements has been making rounds on social media.

Saurabh Raj Jain, who has played the role of ‘Bhagwaan’ earlier, will be portraying the role of a bra fitter in this series. According to the reports, Shweta Tiwari’s comment was in that context.
Shweta Tiwari became a household name in the early years of the 21st century. She shot to fame via Ekta Kapoor’s ‘Kasauti Zindagi ki’. She has also been a part of popular shows like ‘Big Boss’, ‘Begusarai’, ‘Balveer’ and ‘Comedy circus ka Naya Daur.
