A Thirteen-year-old girl from Mysuru, Karnataka is creating world records by driving all kinds of heavy vehicles and with her racing skills. Let’s get a closer look at her journey.
Early life:
She was first introduced to racing by her father, Tajuddin, who was a former famous racer and a tiles dealer. She was drawn into the world of racing at an early age and was also encouraged by her father, who taught her how to drive. Tajuddin had modified and lowered the level of the seats in the vehicles to suit her height.
Among others, Rifah has driven a lorry, a Mahindra Bolero, a Tata Ace, a Mahindra Scorpio, a Toyota Fortuner, a Maruti 800, a Maruti van, a Maruti Esteem, a Maruti Zen, a Santro, a Ford, an ambulance, a Hyundai Verna, a Tata Indica and a Quad bike. However, as she was an underage driver, she had to wait until the age of 7 for the State government’s approval to attempt the feat.
Where is she from:
She is from Bannimantap village in Mysuru, Karnataka, and studies at St. Joseph’s High School. Her mother is a schoolteacher. Tajuddin always dreamt of becoming an international racer and looks to his daughter now to fulfill that dream.
Achievements:
She is a World Champion and has participated in the Golden book of world records. she stated that her goal is to become one of the youngest pilots in the World. In an Interview, She stated that “It’s because of my father’s encouragement and support that I managed to achieve this. I want to achieve more and bring greater laurels to my parents, to my city Mysuru and the country. In days to come, I want to take part in car racing. I want to become a fighter pilot.”
