‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ is currently at its fag end. The country-wide walk which began over 100 days ago, will end in a few weeks. However, the walk and the leader, Rahul Gandhi, have not been free of controversies.
The latest addition to the list is Rahul Gandhi’s T-shirt. The controversy erupted when a political analyst and a BJP supporter Himanshu Jain posted a thread on Twitter ‘exposing’ Rahul Gandhi.

The Controversy
Rahul Gandhi made it to the national headlines for a non-yatra reason when he was seen braving the cold of Delhi in a white T-Shirt. Several theories of science and a few superstitions started floating around the internet. While a few called RaGa a superhuman, many others brought out scientific reasons behind the activity.
Himanshu Jain posted pictures of Congress leaders and highlighted the fact that the leader’s t-shirt was buttoned up. He claimed that it was so because Rahul Gandhi was wearing a ‘thick shield’ beneath the Tee-shirt.
Jain urged his followers to see the consistency of wrinkles on his tee shirt. He pointed out that the beefed-up chest was a result of several layers of thick clothing under the white t-shirt.
Himanshu Jain has got over 41 thousand followers on Twitter. His bio credits him to be a columnist and a political analyst leaning towards the BJP.
Rahul Gandhi’s ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ started on September 7, 2022, from the southern tip of the country, Kanyakumari. The Yatra met with massive response from all the states it went to.

People have had polarising reactions on social media for the thread. While a few of the right wing accounts and the supporters of the government have called out the ‘hypocrisy’ of the opposition leader, a majority of the netizens have slammed Himanshu Jain for a comical and an unnecessary take on the proceedings.
