It’s the wedding season in the cinestaan. The rumours of Kriti Sanon and Prabhas’ ‘love life’ has been in the media since they both were paired against each other in ‘Adipurush’. Although one of them, Kriti, has publicly denied it, the rumours are still very much alive.
The rumours took a new turn when a self proclaimed film critic, Umair Sandhu tweeted, “BREAKING NEWS: #KritiSanon & #Prabhas will get engaged next week in Maldives !! So Happy for them.”
After the ‘news’ broke out, several entertainment publications picked it up and treated it as real news, in reality though, the authenticity is yet to be verified.
It is not the first time this news has come out in public. While promoting his last film, Varun Dhawan also gave away a hint about his co-star’s relationship with the Baahubali actor.
On a show, filmmaker Karan Johar asked the actor to name a few eligible single women from the Hindi film industry, while listing down the names he did not include Sanon’s name, leaving more scope for the fans to speculate.
When asked why Kriti’s name was included in the list, Varun replied, “Kriti ka naam isliye nahi tha kyunki Kriti ka naam kisi ke dil me hai. Ek aadmi hai jo Mumbai me nahi hai, vo iss waqt shooting kar raha hai Deepika (Padukone) ke saath. (Kriti’s name is not here because her name is in someone’s heart. That man is not in Mumbai because right now he is shooting with Deepika).”
However, none of the actors have officially confirmed the news. This is not the first time that Prabhas has been linked with an actress, during the shoot of Baahubali series, he was rumoured to be in a relationship with Anushka Shetty.
