Two years after formally retiring from International cricket, former Indian skipper MS Dhoni still enjoys a huge market value. The CSK captain will soon be seen in a ‘never-seen-before’ avatar of a warrior in a graphic novel.
MS Dhoni unveiled the teaser of ‘Atharva’ in a Facebook post. ‘Atharva’ is a sci-fi and mythological graphic novel. Ramesh Thamilani is the author of the novel. The series will be produced by Ashok Manor and Vincent Adaikalari.
As a caption to the Facebook post he wrote, “Happy to announce my new Avatar…..Atharva……”
In the teaser, the character played by MSD will be seen fighting against the demons. It is based on an unpublished book by a debutant author which goes by the same name. Besides, MS Dhoni is also involved in the production of the “new age graphic novel” as “Dhoni entertainment” will be backing the series. The media company was started by Sakshi Singh Dhoni and MS Dhoni in 2019.
MS Dhoni is not new to the glare of the silver screen. A successful biopic was made on his life in the year 2016. Dhoni was actively involved in the promotional events of the film.
Currently captaining the Chennai Super Kings, Dhoni is in Chennai preparing for the upcoming auctions. Chennai Super Kings is one of the most successful sides in the Indian Premier League, having won the championship 4 times.
