Morocco stunned Spain by knocking them out of the 2022 FIFA world cup. By defeating the football heavyweight, the African nation has qualified for the quarter-finals. They will play Ronaldo-led Portugal in the knockouts on Saturday.
The win by Morocco is being termed historic for several reasons. After defeating Spain, the Moroccon team celebrated with a Palestinian flag with the Moroccon ones. This is not the first time that the Moroccon team has waived the Palestinian flag in the tournament. They did so following their victory against Canada in a group-stage match.
