Several people stated that the specially-abled son of the landlord who was killed in the end by Shiva, will turn back to haunt the people of the village, and Shiva’s son will carry on the generational fight.
However, while speaking at the ceremony to celebrate 100 days of Kanatara’s release, Rishah Shetty confirmed that part two of the movie is not going to be the sequel of Kantara, but a prequel.
Going by Shetty’s statements, Kantara two will take a deep dive into the origin story of when the village started rooting because of him saving the day for them.
Stated to release by 2024, there has been no official confirmation about the dates and cast and crew of the film. With the start of the new year, and growing anticipation amongst fans, one shall expect the news to come out anytime soon.
