An unexpected turn of events unfolded for the crew and passengers aboard IndiGo flight 6E2195, scheduled from Goa to Delhi, when the aircraft was diverted to Mumbai due to poor visibility conditions. What was meant to be a routine flight took a bizarre twist, leading to a 12-hour halt for the crew.

Full Story:

The IndiGo flight, originally set to depart from Goa at 2.25 pm on Sunday, experienced delays and eventually landed in Mumbai at 11.40 pm. As passengers got off, the ground staff connected a stepladder, urging them to board a waiting coach. However, frustration among passengers led to an unexpected turn of events. Instead of boarding the coach, many passengers, upset by the sudden diversion, chose to stay on the tarmac and enjoy their dinner next to the parked aircraft.

In response to this unusual scenario, airport authorities called in the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) to manage the situation. Passengers, who were reluctant to board the coach, were cordoned off into a safety zone. The airline authorities and security personnel closely monitored the passengers until further actions were taken.
