Kantara continues to be the talk of the town, even after a month of its release. The low-budget movie has earned big, nationally and internationally, and has already become one of the all-time blockbusters from the Kannada Film Industry.

Besides the story and the breathtaking action sequences, the music of the movie is gaining popularity. Despite the controversies, Varaha Roopam has been at the top of everyone’s list, it is Singara Siriye who is becoming famous on Instagram reels and videos.
The soulful romantic track is a breather in this high-octane action movie. However, the success of this song is a fruit of the collective effort of the music team and the director of the movie, Rishab Shetty. Vijay Prasad and Ananya Bhat have lent their voice to this melodious track composed by Loknath and written by Pramod Maravanthe.
Writing a romantic track was a major challenge considering the placement in the movie. One of the first briefs that Pramod got before writing the song was that it needs to be a romantic number which is based on the coastal culture of the state.

Coming from the coastal part himself, Maravanthe had an upper hand in understanding the nature of the song. He felt that the folk element needed to be included in the song. However, it was no easy task to please Rishab Shetty. Pramod wrote almost 20 different versions of the song, but none of them could get the green light.

Pramod Maravanthe visited the site of the shooting to get a better understanding of the film. That is where he had long discussions with the actor-director of the film, and gained a better idea of the project.
When Rishab approved the final version of the song, it took not more than a few hours for the technicians to finalize the tune.
