Khakee: The Bihar Chapter has been buzzing among fans ever since it has been released on Netflix. Khakee: The Bihar Chapter was released on November 25 on Netflix. The web series by Neeraj Pandey is based on a timespan of IPS officer Amit Lodha’s life that was narrated in his book The Bihar Diaries.

Based on the life of Lodha, the Neeraj Pandey conceptualized show chronicles the escapades of the police officer who is working on the case to nab the state’s most feared ganglords residing in one of the most crime-dominated villages.
Amit Lodha, a 1988 batch IPS officer, is an officer of the Indian Police Service, who has caught many notorious criminals through a brilliant strategy. Amit Lodha, who is called ‘Super Cop’ of Bihar, caught the dangerous criminal Vijay Samrat of district Sheikhpura after hard work, after which he was awarded the Gallantry Award. He has also been the DG of BSF in Jaisalmer. Amit Lodha now holds IG Rank in Bihar. Post the success of his first book, Lodha has also penned another last year, titled Life in the Uniform.

Amit Lodha launched the Sambhav initiative after being transferred to Bihar in order to spark local initiatives and to maximize the possibility of the state’s youth. Along with Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar, he played a key role in establishing the Bharat Ke Veer fund, which supported the families of martyrs.
The officer, who was born in Rajasthan, is currently an inspector general (IG) of the police. He also received the Police Medal for Acts of Bravery, the Internal Security Medal, and the President’s Police Medal for Outstanding Service while serving. In comparison to his peers, the officer from the 1988 batch succeeded for being a true “public officer.” He would request that anyone who wanted to call him straight on his landline do so at any time.
