India started their 2022 T20 World Cup campaign with an iconic win over its arch rivals, Pakistan. The viral video shows a pan breaking the TV, watching the India-Pakistan game. The man is also seen kicking the TV in anger.
Indian media organisations like Times Now, ABP News, Live Hindustan, NDTV, Jagran, etc. shared the same video and also published articles related to the same.
The Reality
Several fact-checking platforms have found out that the video dates back to 2016. It is from Turkey, wherein a football fan is seen breaking the TV, after his girlfriend played a prank on him, by turning off the TV.
