Amidst an era of religious bigotry, Hindu seer Abhinava Gavisiddeswara Swamiji of Koppal Gavi mutt defied barriers by inaugurating a Mosque.
During the inauguration, he expressed the belief that religious harmony should be a guiding principle for all individuals. He emphasized genuine religious adherence stating, “True religion means harmony. Those who consider their own religion to be superior are not religious. A person who donates blood to a patient without bias is a truly religious person.” He highlighted the importance of unity among diverse faiths, asserting that true religion lies in fostering harmony rather than claiming superiority.
According to him, any ordinary person can embody religious values by living without causing harm or deceit to others. “Even a common man can function as a religious person. True religion is to live without hurting and defrauding others, “was quoted by the Hindu Seer.
The inauguration of the mosque by Abhinava Gavisiddeswara Swamiji in Koppal district serves as a powerful reminder of the significance of religious harmony. Such acts of interfaith provide hope and promote diverse communities, ultimately contributing to a more harmonious society.
