Bengaluru’s Haleema Yezdani has made it to the list of ‘Top 26 most renowned personalities of the globe’. The renowned diabetologist from the city also serves as the vice president of the HIMSS: India Chapter.

Dr Haleema Yezdani has a vast experience of over 20 years as a diabetologist and 10 years of experience in telemedicine. Dr Haleema is also the director of the BENFA healthcare program through which she started a free telemedicine helpline to help people.
During the COVID-19 Pandemic, Dr Yezdani volunteered with various groups such as Stepone, ERT, mercy mission and several other organisations. During the same period, Dr Yezdani treated over six thousand patients on a pro bono basis.
Dr. Yezdani has been featured in a book named ‘Dream big’ as one of 20 women achievers in Karnataka.
