In a swift move, the Indira Gandhi international airport in Delhi has now become the first airport in the country to accommodate 5g networks.
The highly anticipated rollout is set to happen in the country on October 1.
Who can avail these services?

earlier, in august Delhi airport had launched the digiyatra app, enabling paperless checking for domestic flyers.
The ‘DigiYatra’ is a Biometric Enabled Seamless Travel experience (BEST) based on Facial Recognition Technology.
With this technology, passengers can now enter the airport by an automatic hassle-free facial recognition system, at all checkpoints inside the airport, be it the entry point or aircraft boarding among others.
This would mean that the passenger’s faces can now act as their documents, like their ID proof, as well as a boarding pass.
Although the prices of the highly waited 5g rollout and their prices are yet to be declared, airtel and jio have rested rumors, saying that they will be launching their 5g services around Diwali 2022. starting with Delhi Mumbai Kolkata and Chennai.
