The IT hub of the country is gearing up for a whole new experience. The city is hosting a fete called National Family Fair. The event has got a special attraction in the form of a Sea Tunnel Aquarium. It will allow the visitors to get a sneak peek into the underwater lifestyle. The visitors will enter the space through a unique tunnel-like opening, which will be filled with more than 400 species of fish.
The National Consumer Fair group has organised the fair. The group is also the owner of two of the popular amusement parks in the city, including FunWorld. The viewers can have a 360-degree view of the aquatic life.
The setup was a labour of eight long months. Among the different creatures found underwater, people are likely to spot the likes of eels, wrasses, boxfishes, angelfish, and clownfish.
The setup has 13 small caves which are designed for a few large caverns with saltwater fish. Considering that all the animals have special requirements, they will be kept in special tanks with controlled temperature and salinity.
The tunnel has 24 chambers including nine medium-sized aquariums. The organisers have called it to be the largest tunnel aquarium
The tunnel also houses replicas of animals that are extinct. It included the likes of dinosaurs, mammoths, and gorillas.
