Haryana experienced a devastating escalation in communal conflicts, claiming the lives of four individuals. The disturbing events took place in Gurgaon, where a mosque was set on fire, and the naib imam fell victim to an alleged mob of 70-80 people. Responding swiftly to the incident on Monday night, authorities have already identified some of the suspects and assured the public that appropriate actions will be taken, as confirmed by DCP (East) Nitish Aggarwal.

The unfortunate event saw clashes between groups, leading to the deaths of three individuals, including two home guards, while injuring twelve police personnel through gunfire and stone pelting.

To curb the further spread of violence, authorities have taken preventive measures. A curfew was imposed in Nuh, and central forces were deployed to the region. Furthermore, internet services were temporarily suspended in both the affected area and several neighboring districts.
Haryana Home Minister Anil Vij announced on Monday that the government had ordered the suspension of Internet services in Mewat following the outbreak of violence in Nuh. He emphasized that efforts were actively being made to restore peace and stability in the region, and the authorities were also focused on rescuing those who were stranded and affected by the disturbances.
