Massive arrangements are being made to accommodate people arriving from all corners of the state. Nodal officers have been appointed to oversee public grievances, and department-wise counters have been set up to efficiently address the concerns of the public. In an effort to streamline the process, separate stalls for each department have been established.
The organizers have taken special care to ensure the comfort of attendees. Separate stalls for each department, along with arrangements for seating, have been implemented. Special attention is being given to senior citizens, physically challenged individuals, expectant mothers, and mothers attending the event with their children. Wheelchairs have been provided for those with special needs, ensuring inclusivity.
As part of the preparations, the organizers have arranged for food, drinking water, and toilet facilities. Additionally, special bus arrangements by the BMTC have been put in place to facilitate the transportation of people to Vidhana Soudha. The state government is expecting a substantial turnout, with at least 10,000 people anticipated to participate in the Jana Spandana.
Reflecting on the success of the first State-level Jana Spandana held on November 27 last year, the Chief Minister’s office reported the receipt of 4,030 applications. Impressively, 3,738 of these applications have already been addressed, showcasing the efficacy of the program in addressing public concerns.
Ahead of the scheduled Jana Spandana program, authorities have announced significant road closures and diversions. These measures are implemented to ensure smooth traffic flow and security during the high-profile event. Notably, the road from Kengal Hanumanthaiah Statue to Gate No. 04 of Vidhana Soudha will be closed to traffic. Alternative routes have been suggested, and the public is urged to plan accordingly.
In addition to road closures, parking restrictions around Vidhana Soudha are set to be enforced on February 8 from 6:00 am to 7:00 pm. Prohibited parking areas include both sides of Dr BR Ambedkar Road, Rajbhavan Road, Palace Road, D Devaraj Urs Road, and Sheshadri Road. However, alternative parking options have been arranged at strategic locations such as Scouts & Guides Parking Place, Palace Road, Jnana Jyothi, Bangalore University parking place, Central College, Freedom Park, and Palace Ground.
