The infamous Battleground Mobile India might rejoint the India market according to recent reports.
The rumours about the game “unbanning” in India overwhelmed the gamers of the country when the founder of War mania, Hrishav Bhattacharjee, said the game would return.
These claims were corroborated when players of the game reported that they witnessed a trend wherein specific player IDs were visible on the ranking table not on the in-game search results. The migration notice states “The player you are viewing has migrated to Battlegrounds Mobile India.”
Furthermore, people are guessing that the migration notice indicates that BGMI’s servers are changing from India-Singapore to India-Malaysia.
While the passionate gamers keep it guessing, BGMI is awaited to make a statement on the same.
Battleground Mobile India is the Indian counterpart of Tencent’s Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG). PUBG was relaunched in India as BGMI due to high demands by the country’s gamers. The game was banned in India along with several other apps due to violation of a section of the IT laws in 2020. Moreover, the app was reported to violate data sharing concerns and national security.
