An ex-employee is accused of killing a company’s managing director (MD) and chief executive (CEO) on Tuesday in Bengaluru. Subramanyam Phanindra, MD, and Vinu Kumar, CEO of Aironics Media Private Limited, have been named the deceased. The company’s business is offering internet services.
According to police sources, the accused was identified as one Felix, a former firm employee. The incident occurred in a residential area at the Pampa extension in Amruthahalli, north Bengaluru.
Bengaluru police said, “Felix and Phanindra had worked together. He had established his own company and was a rival in the business. Around 4pm on Tuesday, Felix attacked Phanindra and Vinu Kumar and stabbed them to death with sharp objects. He escaped from the spot after the murder.”
The police officer added, “Felix had come in a two wheeler with two others and entered the office building with Phanindra. They had waited for him. Later, they have discussed for about 20 minutes before Felix attacked.”
Bengaluru police further said, “Felix and his associates were carrying weapons with them which included knives and machettes. As Vinu Kumar heard the scream, he entered Phanindra’s chamber and tried to save him but Felix and his accused attacked him as well. There were about 10 employees in the office when Phanindra was murdered. After stabbing the CEO and MD, the accused threatened other employees and fled from the scene.”

The Ministry of Corporate Affairs records show that Aironics Media Private Limited was established on November 7, 2022. Sreeja Kanjirakattu Krishnamarar and Subramanyam Phanindra are the directors.
Police in Amruthahalli, who have opened a murder investigation, have organised four squads to find the suspect. According to a police officer, there are leads on the whereabouts of the accused.
