Renowned physician and diabetologist from Bengaluru, Dr Haleema Yezdani, will feature in an international book. The book will encompass the contribution of women from across the world and platform their journey and struggle to the readers.
Dr Yezdani has been in the medical profession for the last 20 years. Besides, she also has an experience of over 8 years in telemedicine and is a recipient of several awards in the same field. Earlier this year, Dr Haleema Yezdani was elected as the Vice President of the Indian chapter of the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS).
Dr Yezdani’s tryst with HIMSS India began after she made it to the list of 50 clinical leaders globally selected by HIMSS.
According to Sri Kumaran Children’s Home, Dr. Yezdani treated more than six thousand patients during the pandemic, on a pro bono basis.
Dr Haleema Yezdani has done a Diploma in Diabetology besides doing her MBBS.
