A video of Karnataka Congress MLA Zameer Ahmed Khan sharing food with a Dalit Swamiji has gone viral on the internet. The MLA can be seen in the video feeding Swamiji food and asking him to remove it and eat it himself.

Zameer Ahmed Khan is a four-term MLA from Bengaluru’s Chamarajpet Constituency and is National Travels’ managing partner. Mr Khan was a former Karnataka government minister in charge of the Hajj and Wakf Board.
Before joining the Indian National Congress in March 2018, he was Janata Dal (Secular)’s prominent member.
The incident took place on Sunday in Chamarajpet. Mr Khan said that his act targeted those radical elements that are trying to create a rift between communities. Furthermore, it is said that he performed the act to showcase brotherhood.
