A 28-year-old woman was found dead near a high-rise building in Koramangala on March 11, 2023. The woman, who was an air hostess by profession, had reportedly travelled to Bengaluru to meet her boyfriend. She had moved to the city from Dubai.
After the issue came to light, the police detained the boyfriend as they suspected his involvement in the death of the woman. While speaking to the police, the accused confessed that they had several fights in the relationship, following one of which she fell from a building and died.
According to the report by the police, the incident took place at midnight. A preliminary investigation into the matter confirmed the statements given by the accused. The event was reported to the police by the boyfriend. Meanwhile, the police have registered a murder case against the boyfriend.

The woman was a native of Himachal Pradesh, while her boyfriend who works in an IT company is a native of Kerala.
The couple was in a relationship for the last 6 months. The police report stated that the woman had come down to Bengaluru to end the relationship.
“Initially, a case of suicide was registered. Later on, a murder case was registered as jumping from the fourth floor of the building was not easy. The accused is in police custody and the matter is being probed,” said CK Baba, DCP South East to India Today.
