She continued, “Time n time again, You throw huge curveballs at me. sometimes, the largest ones you can find, each one a little heavier than the previous one. You see, The muscles of my willpower might not be as strong as it once used to be. but the power of hope is greater. the imprints in my memory of peaks I have conquered in the past are greater.”
For the unversed, the Cancer survivor actress has been battling Hodgkin’s lymphoma since 2009. The actor underwent treatment in Los Angeles in 2013 after experiencing a cancer relapse. She is the second actor after Samantha Ruth Prabhu to reveal she has an autoimmune disease. In November, Samantha revealed that she had been diagnosed with myositis and was undergoing treatment.
Vitiligo is a skin condition that causes your skin to lose its color or pigment. This causes your skin to appear lighter than your natural skin tone or turn white. The condition occurs when your body’s immune system destroys melanocytes. Melanocytes are skin cells that produce melanin, the chemical that gives skin its color, or pigmentation.
Mamta debuted in the 2005 Malayalam film Mayookham, directed by Hariharan. She featured alongside Mammootty in Bus Conductor, with Suresh Gopi in Adbutham and Lanka (2006), and alongside Jayaram in Madhuchandralekha the same year.
