Bollywood actor Aamir Khan is reportedly considering a comeback project after facing a series of setbacks at the box office. The actor, known for his unique scripts and social commentary in his films, has been on a break since his last two ventures failed to perform well.
Sources suggest that Khan is looking for a script that will allow him to showcase his action skills in a thrilling movie. “Aamir has always been very good with action, and you can see that in films like Dhoom 3, Ghajini, Sarfarosh, and Ghulam. He took a break in between as he didn’t want to repeat himself with similar content. But now, Aamir is keeping an eye out for a script which will present him with an opportunity to do thrilling action,” reported Etimes.
Khan’s last successful film was Dangal in 2016, and his subsequent movies, including Thugs of Hindostan and Lal Singh Chaddha, failed to impress audiences. Lal Singh Chaddha, a remake of the Hollywood classic Forrest Gump, was released in 2022 and received negative reviews.
After the film’s failure, Khan reportedly opted out of the Indian remake of the Spanish film Champions, citing the need to spend time with his family. However, he will still be associated with the project as a producer.
Before the release of Lal Singh Chaddha, Khan was on a record-breaking streak with each of his releases in the Indian box office. The actor’s fans are eagerly waiting for his next project and are hoping to see him return to his winning ways on the big screen.
