A ticket collector has reportedly been suspended after a video of him arguing with a woman went viral. The event unfolded at the KR Puram Railway station in Bengaluru, in the video the ticket collector is seen shouting at the woman passenger over an issue.
“I have booked the ticket, that is why I came. Why are you bullying me?” said the woman passenger while talking to the ticket collector. “Show and go, bloody. This is my job.” said the ticket collector in response.
According to a report by the NDTV, the ticket collector has been suspended by the South Western Railways.
While the altercation between the two was going on, several other passengers were seen standing up for the woman passenger. “I don’t know her, but that guy is dissing her,” said one of the co-passengers.
The woman passenger said that she had shown the ticket to another ticket collector. However, the railway official started getting verbally loud and tried to shut her down. Meanwhile, as the ticket collector tried to walk away from the scene, other passengers pulled him back and accused him of being drunk while on duty.

This comes days after a ticket collector urinated on a woman passenger, while he was off his duty. Identified as Munna Kumar, the incident took place on an Amritsar-Kolkata train. He was arrested in Lucknow and fired from his job as soon as the matter came to light.
Union Railways Minister, Ashwani Viashnaw posted a tweet with a photograph of the termination letter of Munna Kumar. He also stated that the Railways will show zero tolerance for such gross acts.
