The kin 27-year-old man from Bengaluru, who died in an accident has donated his organs to five people. Rohit, as identified by the family, met with an accident in the Basaveshwaranagar area of Bengaluru.
After meeting with the accident on May 21, Rohit slipped into a coma after suffering from multiple injuries. A purifier technician by profession, Rohit had a bone fracture, a head injury and damage to tissues and organs, according to a report by Moneycontrol.

Even after being shifted to a relatively bigger hospital, Rohit’s condition remained unstable and deteriorated, despite surgery and medical care.
Rohit’s family donated his heart valves, corneas, liver, and his kidneys.
The 27-year-old was a married man and had a 6-month-old kid. On May 28, after being shifted to a different hospital for specialised care, he was declared brain dead.
