A 23-year-old woman named Akanksha Bidyasar was found dead in her flat in Bengaluru, said the police on June 6, 2023. The city police have launched a massive manhunt, suspecting the cause of death being murder. The police are looking out for a friend of the education technology firm employee, who is currently absconded.
The death of the woman was reported when her roommate returned to the room and found the victim dead. Bidyasar immediately alerted the police about the scene, who reached the spot and started the inquiry.

A report by NDTV stated that the Akanksha, who had recently moved to Bengaluru, was found dead with a dupatta tied around her neck. An investigation by the police revealed that Akanksha’s friend, named Arpith Gurijala had visited her earlier this week, on Monday. It was also found that Akanksha and Arpith were work colleagues while working in Hyderabad.
