Bollywood or the Hindi Film Making Industry has always had an obsession with showcasing the college and college lives of teenagers.
Even if it is not the main plot passing references are made about college during some part of the movie.

But to make the film more convincing many times they shot these movies on actual college campuses instead of sets.

1. Symbiosis Unversity Pune.
The beautiful campus of Symbiosis university has been showcased in 2 Bollywood films.
The first and most obvious one is the Salman Khan starrer Bodyguard.
But if one looked closely at the movie Mujhse Fraanship Karoge, you can spot some of the campus sites in this movie too.
2. IIM Ahemdabad.
The immediate movie that comes to mind when someone says IIM is Two states.
This is mainly because of the authenticity of the setting of the movies.
The makers knew about the importance of making a connection with the audience.
Thus keeping this in mind the whole storyline of the movie was shot on the campus of IIM Ahmedabad Institute.
Every aspect of the college that was mentioned in the movie was shot on the original campus and not in the studio.
3. IIM Banglore.
The top engineering institute of India as mentioned in 3 idiots was the campus of none other than the IIM Bangalore.
Some parts were surely replicated but the C block, D block and quadrangle (where most of the iconic scenes were shot) were part of the campus.

Delhi University has been one of the most sought after campuses in the nation.
Various Bollywood movies have been shot here like Rockstar, Fukrey and Band Baaja Baarat.
